Original animation cel from the 80s Teenage Mutant Ninja cartoon. If you're unfamiliar with animation cels, they are hand painted frames of animation that were used to make an animated series of film. Each production cel or sketch represents part of the movement process and are hand painted or hand drawn by animators so no two are exactly alike.
Unlike most animation cels which are usually sold in galleries and by auction houses, many of the TMNT cels were packaged and sold in stores. This is still is in the original plastic (though does not have the cardboard tag topper), it's original mat with printed background and has the studio seal. This animation cel is of Rocksteady and Donatello. Cel looks to be in very good shape but we haven't removed it from the original mat. This is a nice Ninja Turtles cel and a perfect piece of nostalgia for any 80s/90s kid.
