Original animation cel from the 80s Smurfs cartoon. If you're unfamiliar with animation cels, they are hand painted frames of animation that were used to make an animated series of film. Each production cel or sketch represents part of the movement process and are hand painted or hand drawn by animators so no two are exactly alike.
This animation cel is of Gargamel's cat Azrael. Cel is a single layer on western acetate. Cel has some minor line wear and a small rip on one of the registration holes, otherwise nice shape for a cel of this vintage. This is a nice cel and a perfect piece of 80s nostalgia for any collection.
