Original Urusei Yatsura anime cel from the classic anime TV series based on the Rumiko Takahashi manga. If you're unfamiliar with animation cels, they are hand painted frames of animation that were used to make an animated series of film. Each production cel or sketch represents part of the movement process and are hand painted or hand drawn by animators so no two are exactly alike. They're a lot like movie props. :)
This is a cel from episode 43, The Terror of Meow and of one of the cats Torajima called out against Ataru. Cel comes with matching douga sketch. Cel and sketch have wear in keeping with animation art of this vintage, most notably line fading on the cel, and some minor damage and paint transfer on the douga. This is a great cel of a big silly cat from a memorable episode, we'd defintely be keeping it if we didn't have sequence mates. A rare and wonderful collectible for any Urusei Yatsura fan.
