Original Production cel from the Kite OVA by Yasuomi Umetsu (Also known as A Kite). If you're unfamiliar with animation cels, they are hand painted frames of animation that were used to make an animated series of film. Each production cel or sketch represents part of the movement process and are hand painted or hand drawn by animators so no two are exactly alike. They're a lot like movie props.
This is Sawa in her casual clothes when she sitting and eating snacks with Oburi. This is a single layer cel with matching Douga. Cel has some minor fading and scuffs on the unpainted acetate but is otherwise in good shape. Douga has a few spots and small tears where it was removed from the cel. With all production artwork please expect some wear and tear from the filming process. Kite cels are becoming increasingly hard to find and this is a hard to find outfit on Sawa, a great unique piece from this controversial classic.
