Original Production cel from the Virtua Fighter anime based on Sega's hit arcade game. If you are unfamiliar with animation cels, they are hand painted frames of animation that were used to make an animated series of film. Each production cel or sketch represents part of the movement process and are hand painted or hand drawn by animators so no two are exactly alike. They're a lot like movie props.
This is a single layered cel that looks like it's of the main character Akira in a fighting stance but he's not wearing his trademark white headband. Cel is a single layer labled A3 and has some noticeable line fading and other wear appropriate for a cel of this vintage but no major paint chips or other damages. It comes with it's matching animator's sketch. Sketch has some paint transfer but is otherwise in great shape. This is a fantastic piece for any Virtua Fighter fan, a wonderful original piece of video game history.
