Hand Painted production anime cel used in the making of he Sailor Moon R season. If you are unfamiliar with animation cels, they are hand painted frames of animation that were used to make an animated series of film. Each production cel or sketch represents part of the movement process and are hand painted or hand drawn by animators so no two are exactly alike. They're a lot like movie props. This is a dynamic shot of the healed spectre sisters Berhier and Koan being trapped in Episode 72. This is from when their sisters, angry that they're traitors to the Dark Moon Clan, use them as bait to draw out the sailor senshi. This is a single layer cel labeled B9. Cel was has paper residue stuck to the back and has line fading throughout and some minor wear keeping with a Sailor Moon cel of this vintage. First image is cropped for detail, second is the full cel, third is a close screenshot from the episode. This is a wonderful dynamic shot and a piece of animation history perfect for any Sailor Moon cel collection.
