Original Production sketch from a vintage Purina commercial from either the eighties or late seventies. If you're unfamiliar with animation cels, they are hand painted frames of animation that were used to make an animated series of film. Each production cel or sketch represents part of the movement process and are hand painted or hand drawn by animators so no two are exactly alike. They're a lot like movie props.
This is a multi-layer hand drawn animation cel was used to make a Purina commercial (though we haven't been able to find the commercial) This cel has been trimmed down on the top so it's no longer standard cel sized. Cut is a bit uneven, layers have been taped together at the bottom and top layer has some bending. Overall though the central image still looks good. This very fun piece for any cel or advertising memorabilia collection.
