Awesome Original Production cel from the Earthworm Jim Cartoon series. If you are unfamiliar with animation cels, they are hand painted frames of animation that were used to make an animated series or film. Each production cel or sketch represents part of the movement process and are hand painted or hand drawn by animators so no two are exactly alike. They're a lot like movie props.
This is a great shot of one of Jim's Nemesis' Professor Monkey for a head. Cel is a single layer labeled A-107 and does not have a sketch. Cel is in good shape with some minor fading on the lines and some scuffs on the unpainted acetate. It appears he should be coming from the side of the frame in this shot (given the position of the registration/tap holes), but we have the detail cropped image oriented so he's standing up straight. This is a great nearly full body shot of this character with his Monkey face eating an coconut. A one of a kind piece perfect for any fan of Earthworm Jim or vintage games.
